Donating to Junior Achievement Auction Gala and Charity Golf Tournament

Breaking Par for Junior AchievementWooten’s Everglades Airboat Tours has donated a Grasslands Airboat Tour for 4 guests to the Breaking Par for Junior Achievement Auction Gala and Charity Golf Tournament. The two-day event hosted by Grandezza includes a gala dinner and live silent auction on Saturday, April 25 and a Shotgun Scramble Golf Tournament, luncheon and awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 26. All proceeds of the event will contribute to Junior Achievement’s flagship program, CEO Academy, a one-week camp designed to help prepare young aspiring entrepreneurs to be the outstanding business leaders and CEOs of tomorrow.

The team at Wooten’s Everglades Airboat Tours is proud to contribute to this community event which helps students in our area grow into business leaders and entrepreneurs. Dr. Sandra K. Kauanui of the Lutgert College of Business at FGCU will be honored with the first-ever “Breaking Par Award” to recognize her long-standing commitment and passion for JA’s mission through volunteerism, advocacy and generosity. Dr. Kauanui has been a board member for JASWFL since July 2014, and she has volunteered in support of the JA CEO Academy since 2011. Dr. Kauanui and her husband, Joe, are among the Grandezza residents who have committed years of hard work and generosity to becoming the prominent funding source for the CEO Academy.
